Expertise de recherche

Les principaux intérêts de recherche épidémiologique du Dr Helen Trottier concernent le domaine des maladies infectieuses, plus spécialement la dynamique des maladies infectieuses communes de l’enfance, la vaccination et les maladies infectieuses liées au cancer comme le virus du papillome humain (HPV), le virus d’Epstein-Barr (EBV) et autres virus Herpes Humain (HHV). Elle s’intéresse particulière à la transmission périnatale d’agents infectieux et à la transmission infectieuse par l’entremise de produits sanguins. Dr Trottier est titulaire de nombreux fonds de recherche et de bourses salariales des IRSC et du FRQS.
