Mes intérêts de recherche sont la promotion de la santé, les déterminants sociaux de la santé, les inégalités sociales de santé, et la théorie sociale en santé publique.
Biographie
Katherine Frohlich est professeure au Département de médecine sociale et préventive et à l’École de santé publique de l’Université de Montréal. Ses travaux de recherche portent sur les inégalités de santé, la théorie sociale en épidémiologie et en promotion de la santé et la sociologie du tabagisme. Ces publications les plus récentes se penchent sur les enjeux théoriques et conceptuels entre la recherche sur les quartiers et la recherche populationnelle, de même que sur les enjeux liés au tabagisme et aux inégalités sociales. Elle détient un doctorat en santé publique de l’Université de Montréal.
